BuildLab exposes a public, read-only MCP server. Claude, ChatGPT or your agent can look up TT 38/2026 norm codes, provincial unit prices and the tool catalog — with source links for citation.

Streamable HTTP — JSON-RPC 2.0. Read-only, anonymous, rate-limited to 60 requests/minute/IP (429 with Retry-After). No API key needed.

lookup_norm
Look up a norm code (e.g. AB.11311): work name, unit, material/labor/machine consumption, applicability notes, legal source.
lookup_unit_price
Look up unit prices by province + publication year.
search_catalogs
Search norm codes by work-name keywords (pg_trgm fuzzy).
list_calculators
Catalog of BuildLab's public calculators and lookup tools.
